The Story of TVAM Foundation

The Vishwas & Anuradha Memorial (TVAM) Foundation was founded by Rasika Mhalgi Wakalkar in the memory of her late parents, Anuradha and Vishwas Mhalgi, in Mar 2019.

The Foundation is committed to researching, celebrating, and informing the general public of the rich textile traditions of the Deccan and its narratives.

For revival to happen, one needs authentic research in place to know what even was lost. We facilitate and enable our ecosystems.

OUR MISSION

To preserve and document the heritage of Deccan textiles, foster awareness and patronage through knowledge-sharing initiatives, and support weavers by reviving skills and livelihoods to inspire the highest standards of craftsmanship.
